Over the past month, we have been introducing our DT, or as we like to call them, "Pin Heads" here on the blog. Our first challenge is scheduled for January 8, 2013 and we can't wait! Please welcome me in announcing our final Design Team member, Audrey Tokach.

 

 

My name is Audrey Tokach and I am a SAHM to two beautiful boys, Logan (10) and Joshua (9).  My wonderful husband Drew and I have been married for 11 years.  We live in sunny Florida, but I grew up in the Philadelphia, PA suburbs and will always call it home.  I am an animal lover (just ask my 2 Cocker Spaniels and 4 felines!).  I started scrapbooking in 2001 while pregnant with my oldest son and in 2009, I was introduced to the wonderful world of stamping.  After a few orders of clear stamps and Copic markers, and I was hooked!  Apart from stamping, I enjoy altered art and 3D home decor projects and I am in the process of teaching myself how to crochet and knit.  Please visit my blog, Pink Ink Originals, to see what I've been up to!!  I am so excited to be part of this team of amazing ladies and I am looking forward to sharing with you!  With lots of great sponsors and prizes, you won't want ot miss a single challenge! :)

Hi, I’m Jean Manis and am delighted to be part of this new challenge! I am the mother of two sons; one is a recent college graduate and the other is in his sophomore year at college. My husband and I live in the Pacific Northwest with our golden retriever, “Ginger”, whom we walk daily—rain or shine. I began scrapbooking in the mid-2000s and began making cards in the summer of 2011 just before my youngest son headed off to college. When not crafting or walking the dog, I enjoy reading mysteries and drinking tea. I document my scrapbooking and card making on my blog.

 Hi everyone, my name is too long for most so I just go by Lalo.  I live in Hawaii where I have the BEST job of raising three awesome boys and one pretty princess.  When I'm not at the beach or running my kiddos around, you can find me paper crafting up a storm.  I like making everything from cards and scrapbook pages to altered arts and gifts.  I'm also big on tutorials because I love to share.  So if it involves cool paper and awesome stamps, I'm in!  I love creating and blogging and I hope to inspire others and spread happy too!

Hi!  My name is Jen McDermott and I am beyond thrilled to be a "Pin Head"!  A little about me:  I am married to my high school sweetheart (we met in band camp!), and we have four crazy, energetic kids all Kindergarten age and younger.  I started scrapbooking in high school as a way to document family vacations and school dances, and just fell in love with pretty paper.  I started card-making a couple of years ago as a way to use girly paper again (at that point I had three little boys and was up to my eyeballs in robots and spaceships)  I *love* clean and simple design, and witty/punny sentiments.  When I'm not paper-crafting, I love to read (I'm a BIG Harry Potter fan!), crochet, and plan crafts for our MOPS group.  You can check out my creations on my blog.

Hi! I'm Chrissie and I live in the Chicagoland area with my wonderful husband, son, daughter and crazy dog. I work full-time as Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Operator at a small print company. I have been involved in some aspect of art my entire life. From oil paints and watercolors as a child, to paper crafting and digital art as an adult, rarely a day has gone by in my world that doesn't include art. I am an Alumnus of the Illinois Institute of Art, where I graduated with Honors and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications. I started papercrafting around 1997, but I ended up just hoarding supplies and not completing any projects. A few years ago, my love of papercrafting was rekindled when I was invited to scrapbook at a friend’s house. I have been obsessed ever since!!!

Pinspired Challenges: Turning Pins Into Projects

We are slowly introducing you to our DT, or as we like to call them, "Pin Heads"  here on the blog.  We are all getting ready for our very first challenge on January 8, 2013.  Please welcome me in announcing our second Design Team member, Laurel Beard.

My name is Laurel and I live in sunny Florida where I have lived my entire life. I am short and love to laugh. I am afraid of heights but am married to a Navy Pilot. We have a gorgeous 7 year old son, with another on the way in March!!! I was introduced to stamping a few years ago when I wanted to make a teacher's gift. I created the most horrific, and I mean horrific, altered clipboard on the face of the planet. I like to think I have improved since then! I would define myself as a very clean and simple designer, rarely using a lot of embellishments on one card. My favorite techniques are embossing and incorporating distress inks into my projects. I have a love of water coloring. I also loving building patterns and backgrounds out of stamps! In addition to crafting, I am crazy about APPLE products and Coca Cola stuff (I'm a collector).  You can view my projects on my blog, Flickr or over on my youtube channel.
